Developmental Services

The developmental services branch of Kennedy House is comprised of three homes under two categories: two homes operate as D-STAY facilities (Developmental Services for Transitional Aged Youth aged 17-25) and one home provides residential placements for youth pre-transitional age.

Kennedy House’s D-Stay programs provide residential placement for male and female transitional-aged youth (TAY) 17-25 years old who are diagnosed as having autism and/or an intellectual disability and are Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) eligible. D-Stay is designed for individuals with needs that are not matched by children’s or youth residential services at their current age.  Program philosophy exemplifies client centered planning and we adapt to each individual’s needs.

Currently, our Manse Road and Brock Road houses operate as D-STAY programs. The Galloway Road program operates as a residential placement for youth pre-transitional age.
