As always, we are committed to the safety and well-being of Kennedy House staff & clients. As we watch the developments of COVID-19, we are doing everything we can to maintain health & safety as our top priority.
Due to the nature of our agency and the populations we serve, most of our sites will remain open (unless a need arises) and we’ve taken additional steps to reinforce our health & safety procedures. Effective Saturday, March 14th, 2020, the following safety measures will be in place:
- Our Head Office at 10 Milner Business Court will remained closed indefinitely and all administrative staff are working remotely to practice social & physical distancing. Until further notice, our office will not be open to the public for intakes, assessments or any other in-person inquiries relating to a youth in our care.
- The Kennedy House After School Programs and Day Treatment Program will also remain closed in conjunction with city & provincial school board regulations until further notice.
- Our residential programs and shelter services will remain in operation but all programs will be on a form of lockdown (with an allowance for essential movement only) as a prevention measure against community spread of the virus.
The above-mentioned safety measures will remain in place until further notice. This situation is fluid and rest assured we will continue to monitor it closely. Updates will be provided as required. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. As we have also done internally, we encourage you to stay current on Ontario Public Health updates as they are provided.
Thank you for your dedication to Kennedy House during these challenging & uncertain times. Stay well and stay safe.
