We are committed to the safety and well-being of Kennedy House staff & clients. As we watch the developments of COVID-19 and as the world starts to open up slowly, we are doing everything we can to maintain health & safety as our top priority for all of our clients & staff.
The precautionary measures we have put in place are reflective of the nature of our organization and the populations that we serve. The following measures will be in place effective May 25, 2020:
- Our Head Office at 10 Milner Business Court is open for administrative staff & management only. While we are open for deliveries, we are still not open to the public for intakes, assessments or any other in-person inquiries for the near future.
- Given the nature of our organization, our residential programs and shelter services will remain in operation but all programs are streamlined and managed by an effective team of essential staff who allow for essential movement only.
- As it is now the summer, the Kennedy House Day Treatment Program is no longer running in accordance with the TDSB school schedule. Additionally, we have decided not to operate our Summer Camp program this year (find more information on that here). We are still trying to finalize logistics & safety measures to run our After School programs in the Fall and we will share that information with you once we have made a decision.
The above-mentioned safety measures will remain in place until further notice. This situation is fluid and rest assured we will continue to monitor it closely. Updates will be provided as required. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. As we have also done internally, we encourage you to stay current on Ontario Public Health updates as they are provided.
Thank you for your dedication to Kennedy House during these challenging & uncertain times. Stay well and stay safe.
